I remember a coworker in her late twenties saying this on how dating was so difficult. I was not surprised by her first two complaints: general anger issues and having few outside hobbies. I WAS surprised at her mention of how many men apparently don’t wash their hair or butts.

Just had my first illegal pee. Walked past a bunch of other women in the loo who did…absolutely nothing. What? Am I a ghost or something 👻? I was a little worried a terf might slide under the door on one of those wheeled tray things mechanics use to check underneath cars - but didn’t happen. Phew.

Another thing that pisses me off about the endless “BlueSky needs to be more welcoming to far-right Nazis” takes is, they are free to join. It seems BlueSky won’t take their posts down unless they contain a pic of an ass. What they want is an algorithm to force their rage-bait shit onto your feed.

The fascinating thing about Patricia Moyer of #WidowsBay is not that she's new or unique. There are dozens of TV shows which have similar characters - unconventionally attractive, physically dangerous, isolated, traumatised, older-than-25 women. They're just not usually the protagonist.

anecdotally, everyone I know who has managed to get an ADHD diagnosis - all of whom have had to scrape the money together to go privately because the waiting list is 18 years or some shit - have found the diagnosis and the meds generally life-changing. huge improvements in quality of life

You may recall the case where Lynne Freeman sued Tracy Wolff for writing a YA set in Alaska where the male lead was hot and broody, just like in Freeman's book. This litigation went on for three years before a judge finally read both books and said there was zero infringement.
