Very normal and standard for a UN official to tell people in a country when it's appropriate for them to disagree with a court ruling or not. Wonder if she did this for Dobbs too.
I won't be giving another penny to @amnesty.org unless they come out swinging here. If they only defend the human rights of some people, I will find a charity that defends all people.
I think if both religious leaders AND amnesty and simultaneously criticising the government for it's treatment of trans and queer people, that government should probably not be the government anymore.
'That government' did not want us to have those rights, and fought against them all the way to Strasbourg. Labour deserve no credit for GRA2004 or EA2010. The second they returned to government for the first time since 2010 they viciously went after us and our human rights. Labour are anti trans.

Literally most of the rights LGBT people have *came* from that government. That includes the Gender Recognition Act 2004 which the anti-trans movement has spent a decade rallying against
