The BBC undercover investigation into false immigration claims is deeply irresponsible journalism. It does not highlight that exploitation by unregulated advisors occurs because legal aid was cut and the system is insane to navigate.

The settlement proposals were designed because of perceived specific pressures of 2021-24 arrivals spike - but the government is shifting due to the fairness objections + the mobilisation of those affected and their allies. Why these would be good long-term reforms is ??? + has had no attention.
