A quick word on Taco Bell: That's where we found the suspected lettuce, and it's not bc Taco Bell is gross. It's bc Taco Bell is REALLY GOOD at tracing product! Keeping track of exactly where they got their ingredients, & exactly what restaurants each shipment of ingredients went to!

Steve Taylor was not involved in Taylor Farms. Taylor Farms was started by his younger brother Bruce. The organic arm of Taylor Farms is Earthbound Farm.

Either Taylor Farms doesn't have a precise inventory management system (which these days is optimistic to the point of foolishness). Or they do, and are refusing to share the information (which is obstruction).

If you feel like people are being a little performative & over-the-top with "Hey Taco Bell good looking out," you could always stop & ask yourself.... "I wonder if there's a reason?" Maybe there's a wider trend in public health where good deeds just get punished, & we're trying to stop that!

And yet, you mention Taco Bell - not the supplier - before the actual responsible party, Taylor Farms. I’m not a fan of Taco Bell, but the media keeps throwing them under the bus, when they were one of the first to act to protect the public. Taylor Farms supplies a lot more than TB.

I will point out that the official CDC statement doesn't even mention Taylor Farms - just a Mexican supplier and Taco Bell. Kinda like the government is targeting Taco Bell & Mexico and protecting Taylor Farms.
