there are a lot of philosophical concepts that get egregiously misused out of the seminar room (and in the seminar room, to be fair). but in terms of sheer pernicious misuse "social construct" has gotta be top 5 somewhere and it's not number 5

Do air quality detectors have trouble with wildfire smoke? The air has been "moderate" hear for the past few days, but it's been hitting mh asthma. I just wore a mask outside for an hour and the felt over the metal band is smoke-stained

So I think a thing often missed is that “everybody knows this already” can be dissuasive to victims coming forward. If everybody knows about it, why has nobody done anything about it? Will they do anything if you speak up or is this a man too powerful to touch?
