The White House teleprompter operator is being investigated of trading on insider information while Trump sells advance tweets to Wall Street for 100k a month so they can get ahead of his market manipulation. They aren't even trying to hide the corruption anymore.

The GOP is out there trying to convince Americans they have more money than they have & Big Brother murderering us in our neighborhoods is making us safe Now they want us to believe communists are the threat we face They are SOOO desperate to avoid prison, they will say anything

28 years of cyclosporiasis testing Screwworms eradicated in the US in 1966. Measles eradicated in the US in 2000. All are back because of this science denying administration.

the use of “performative” as an insult here is why these people are losing their primaries. yes, voters want you to perform their anger and disgust! they want representatives to represent their symbolic interests! the idea that good representation is necessarily quiet and unobtrusive is wrong!

If incumbents want to sneer at primary voters, they'll probably keep losing. Serious "No, it's the children who are wrong" energy here. www.axios.com/2026/07/01/m...

Why it matters: Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.) was a staunch progressive, not a moderate, these members are privately fuming. So why did she become a target of the left?

"One more case in the growing dynamic of performative politics," one House Democrat, speaking on the condition of anonymity to share candid analysis on the results, told Axios.
"Diana was an excellent representative with seniority — but the style of someone younger and more outspoken has become more attractive to that cohort of motivated urban left voters."
A senior House Democrat called the result a "wake-up call" for members of Congress

Saying we should all go back to physical media I think misses the point. I actually *like* buying games and movies digitally for a bunch of reasons. What we need is better consumer protections so the things we do buy digitally are actually owned and companies cant delete/revoke access!

anyway i think the proper takeaway here is that a bare majority of the court thinks the plain words of the 14th amendment mean what they say, that four members believe there is a secret hidden meaning only recently discovered by hack lawyers

my feed today: apple: it’s fucking over microsoft: it’s fucking over supreme court: it’s fucking over video game devs: it’s fucking over Wario64: undertale $2.49 on steam rn

You can’t make this up. President Trump just cancelled signing bipartisan affordable housing legislation because he is more concerned about his voter suppression efforts. Americans are struggling to afford housing. But the president is more concerned about his power.

hey its actually a gigantic problem that 1 of the 2 major political parties in this country are consistently claiming any election they dont win has been “stolen” or “rigged”

english isn't for cowards. if you're not saying 'torpify,' that's a skill issue. there's no Académie Française telling you what to do. if you try to type 'pallific' and freak out when you see a little red underline, maybe you're not ready to roll with the big dogs.
