When it comes to Western Sahara, major Western countries and EU support everything they claim to oppose in Ukraine: They want to give invader Morocco the entire nation it invaded and occupies. Freedom according to the West is for Ukrainians, who have the right pigment & geolographical position.
Western Sahara is not 'disputed', most of the country is occupied by Morocco which invaded its southern neighbour in 1976. Morocco has blocked the UN-run referendum agreed in the 1991 armistice ever since. With support especially from USA & France, and now also from EU and UK. War restarted 2020.
