Absolutely this! It bugs me so much when people do not consider the visuals in a visual medium to be the text because they’re so used to conflating Words as Text. Pictures are the text if the medium is visual.
You kind of can’t just be like ”yeah and there were some visuals there that were quite a spectacle.” A movie is made up of visual information. The entire movie is visuals. You have to talk about the images on the screen!
Went to the library last week to see if they had any helpful books on trees and I checked out a few and this was by far the most useful as a drawing-the-woods reference. Added it to my own library and recommending it for yours!
Time to watch that culturally relevant, capital letter Film like everyone else. Yup. Mortal Kombat II is streaming finally.

Eddie Lin, Alexis Mercedes Rinck, and Rob Saka voted no.
