Absolutely this! It bugs me so much when people do not consider the visuals in a visual medium to be the text because they’re so used to conflating Words as Text. Pictures are the text if the medium is visual.

Went to the library last week to see if they had any helpful books on trees and I checked out a few and this was by far the most useful as a drawing-the-woods reference. Added it to my own library and recommending it for yours!

The Seattle City Council just voted 6-3 to approve Joy Hollingsworth's amendment to delay universal school lunches for kids, replacing them with vouchers for qualifying low-income parents to buy groceries over school breaks and weekends. Eddie Lin, Alexis Mercedes Rinck, and Rob Saka voted no.
