The NHS is already one of the biggest perpetrators of anti-trans violence in the UK. This new guidance, which refers to trans people using slurs, demands that we be segregated and abused. I’ve said it before: senior NHS managers must be sacked and punished for what they’ve done to us.

Racism is not where it came from. It is not what motivated the deep yearning for safety, for a refuge, whether 80 years ago or 800.

At a certain point we have to ask "is your fear actually proportionate?" because it's not right to eternally indulge a fear that's basically shadow boxing an imagined enemy in order to cover for the ongoing extermination of a people we've had beamed into our phones for years now.
