It's so Namjoon to have a section in his exhibition named "i don't know but i like it" In a time where there is a strong need to explain why you like something or you have to see yourself in it to justify liking something, he created space for that undefined reason. Liking something just because💜

a room introduction from "RM x SFMOMA: Between You and Me" exhibition! i don't know.. but i like it 말로 설명은 안 되는데, 좋아. Sometimes you just like something, and you're not really sure why. I was asked to explain it, so I tried, but it didn't convey very well. So I just made a room instead. There is no grand reason behind what's here. They're simply things I like. But when you think about it, that's how everyone lives. A captured image, a sentence that passed by, a playlist for working out, a strangely shaped pebble picked up from the beach... A feed, a drawer, even a corner of the heart are all, in the end, just each person's own small exhibition. “I don't know why, I just like it.” And honestly, that's enough.
