Ok I’ve been encouraged to ask the smart people of Bluesky about the mystery of the suddenly-all Indian pop music Spotify discover weekly. This happened to me and one other friend that I know of this week. Neither of us regularly listen to Indian pop music. Anyone else? Why??

Up in Lake Forest Park this morning with transit advocates to support completion of Sound Transit's Stride bus rapid transit project along Bothell Way. The project is facing a legal threat from opponents in LFP that could add years of delay.

Supporters hold signs at a bus stop. One reads Less Fuss More BusMore folks with signs. Public transit equals climate justiceWoman in a wheelchair holds sign supporting bus rapid transit

Then onto Shoreline’s Hands Off rally - great turnout and good vibes. Still getting used to the suburban rally modality of standing on a corner and having cars honk approvingly at you. Next time can we at least take the street??

this is insane: Washington state is basically doing reverse congestion pricing, taxing sustainable/efficient forms of transportation to subsidize pointless highway widenings. and this is a state with a democratic trifecta! what is going on here

Taxing buses and e-bikes to fund highway expansion projects is madness. And yet, that's what is being proposed. If you expect better from the Washington State senate, fill out TCC's action alert right now ⬇️

Here’s your Shoreline City Council thread, including discussion (but no vote) on eliminating parking minimums. We’re filling a bunch of seats tonight to remind our lovely council that housing rules and parking mandates drool
