Brilliant letter from Stuart Thompson to Jeremy Clarkson about his comments that benefit claimants should write weekly thank you letters to tax payers detailing how they spend their benefits each week.
I work in disability study support. I hate the effect on students + colleagues that 'just asking questions' has after programmes like this. Families who don't want to believe in ADHD, students stuck waiting on diagnoses, doubters feeling emboldened to say "it's a bandwagon". This prog is DANGEROUS.

anyway, the question being posed is something more akin to "is ADHD defined too broadly, such that everyone gets a diagnosis, treatment, and accommodations even if I don't think they deserve them?" and the answer to *that* is a hearty "fuck you."
