Reading about Humboldt on holidays. Intriguingly, the river Drava is at an all-time low, which allowed for some interesting finds. A 70kg WWII bomb was dismantled, we found many bones. Some look recent (lamb?), others much older… Any guesses at what they might be??

I woke up to a great spotted woodpecker in our garden. This is going to be a good day 😃 For context: we live in an urban area in the Netherlands, where even sparrows are becoming rare. Our garden is a rare fleck of green in a desert of stone, with most neighbours preferring gravel gardens 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️
