A stock market is where shares in companies are bought and sold based on economic data such as “did the president say war words or peace words last night?” and “can you imagine a future where computers do all your work for you much better than you do would but you keep all the money?”

The weirdest thing about elections in NZ isn’t the level of political corruption, it’s how everyone thinks there isn’t any. If you regulated election spending the entire right wing of NZ politics would evaporate overnight.

nationalise power companies now. invest in getting solar and batteries into as many homes as possible. the solutions and the money is there, we just need brave leaders to make positive change happen.

I'm a bear of little brain, but in my book taxpayers should not be picking up the bill for any MP to travel to and from party political events, like election fundraisers or party conferences. Either they do it at their own expense, or from party funds. End of line. #nzpol

The Public Service Commissioner is in one corner trying to tell the Public Service Association what they can and cannot say politically, and then we have Mr CEO of the country using public services to get to and from party political events like that’s just fine and ok

Hmm, I wonder if there's any correlation between the government deeming schoolkids to be unworthy of proper food/care/resources and kids acting up in class (who Paul Henry pretends to be so concerned about)? #nzpol
