I feel like In'Shallah is the mazel tov of Muslim speak. just such a good way of expressing something that it is a universal phrase we use in our distinct ways. for me it's reserved for fatalism. "to have hair again, inshallah" "I'm going to take a quick nap and hopefully not get bothered, inshallah"

FWIW, both of VDARE’s founders were on the masthead of the National Review in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Peter Brimelow was also a staffer for Senator Orrin Hatch. This white nationalist thread has been present in the conservative movement for a long time. Screenshot is from 1997.

SCHIFF: You told my staff you stood by your article in white nationalist website VDARE where you wrote, 'Muslim immigrants & their kids seem prone to terrorism' C: I wrote that article in support of Trump's travel ban S: Do you stand by it? C: I stand by that article S: That's all I need to know

I took 20 mg gummy at a wilco show once and I made @damienlavera.bsky.social walk me to the er tent because I thought I was about to die, expressing remorse for not seeing my kids grow up and only before catching the attention of a paramedic did I realize it might be the gummy.

Sen. Bernie Moreno said Rep. Max Miller refused to return his granddaughter’s favorite blue bunny. Reports also show that photos of a syringe and 150mg weed gummies were found in Miller’s bedroom.

Apparently Hegseth watches snuff films of American strikes and sends some to Trump. it explains repeated second and third strike on targets. including girls school in Minab. Would be telling me to see how view count on the war crime.

So many parallels: Advances followed by brutal backlashes. Hatred cloaked in concern about "fairness" and "undue influence" on children. Insistence that it's a medical/mental problem. Rage at cultural institutions that "promote a lifestyle." Invective about "special rights." Malevolent statehouses.

I have been thinking a lot lately about how so many of the "arguments" against trans rights are essentially the same as the various fake panics about gay people.

NEW NYT: A freelance reporter has been fighting a subpoena from the Trump admin seeking to force him to reveal his sources for a New York Times article about a failed top secret mission in North Korea, according to people familiar with the matter.L

It's weird, when you look back on the coverage of Jackie Robinson integrating Major League Baseball, there weren't a lot of these sympathetic pieces about the fans practicing their rights of freedom of speech by screaming the N-word at him. Progress!

Speaking for the first time since ralliers began assembling in support of her stance against transgender participation in women’s sports, Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham said this was an opportunity for the WNBA to uphold its values of diversity and inclusion. nyti.ms/4fHr4Qn

It is “funny” that there are bums who wake up every morning and think to themselves, “i want nothing more than to simp for the pedo slaver aristocracy of the antebellum south”
