“how do we win back trump voters in 2026” we don’t. we create an environment where admitting to voting for trump is so socially embarrassing as to render them completely inert. you don’t “win back” trump voters. you demoralize them into staying home. you make it a dunce cap

It's not the "Cornell 7." It is the Cornell 50, or however many are in that group chat. Their silence is complicity. Essays for five of the seven. Essays. Essays are what you get assigned the first time you plagiarize something, or use AI when it was forbidden.
My god, SCOTUS acted within hours to clear the way for this execution and Tennessee completely botched it and tortured her. She's still alive. This barbaric practice needs to end. www.tennessean.com/story/news/c...

We should absolutely protect Jane Doe and talk about what we can learn from the failures before, during, and after the harm in this case, but we gotta keep pointing out that this is but one case in an overwhelming, gigantic sea of experiences like this.
A slug lives in our kitchen. We tried taking him outside but he kept coming back so we gave up and have accepted him as one of our own. His name is Steve.
It's weird how the federal government is constantly being hacked after DOGE gutted the government's cybersecurity agencies.
The Pentagon is notifying millions of current and former U.S. military servicemembers and staff that hackers stole their *unencrypted* personal information during a months-long data breach. The agency that had the breach also handles ID and login/credential access to U.S. military systems and bases.
How many nations have spent so much effort over decades to do to the US Military what is now being done voluntarily…
They are destroying military leadership.

A U.S. Army psychologist Gustave M. Gilbert interviewed Nazi war criminals on trial at Nuremberg and famously wrote in his 1950 book, "Evil, I think, is the absence of empathy." It was the *lack* of empathy that made the Holocaust possible.
Someone sent me a letter saying that "being empathetic" is "how Jews lost the plot" and ended up in gas chambers. That was not, in fact, the lesson of the Shoah. And frankly I'd rather die with empathy than live without it. Hell, I'd rather die with empathy even for my enemy than live without it.
