Regime change! OK, no regime change. Unconditional surrender! OK, no surrender. Nuclear deal! OK, no nuclear deal. But we control Hormuz! OK, we don’t control Hormuz. But we’re squeezing them economically into concessions! OK, no concessions. But maybe a future president can get something, IDK.

Chris Wright now says there may be no deal with Iran after all: "There may not be a nuclear agreement. It may be simply destroying their capabilities to do it. An agreement may await the next administration in Iran. We simply don't know that."

I think this gets to the heart of liberal-left complaints about the press. Political reporters think we're criticizing them for not being on "our" side. We're not. We're criticizing them for not being on journalism's side. Unplug from the DC celebrity access system and do honest independent work.

Contrary to AGS’s insulting straw man, few people are demanding reporters become liberal warriors, we just want the profession to take its own existence and our fundamental rights — and the truth — seriously. No need to shill. Just take the stakes of the job seriously.

So many sneering elitist journalists with snarky posts over the past months that the Reflecting Pool story was trivial. It was so trivial that the DC US Attny presented false evidence to a grand jury to indict an innocent man to please the President while they both lied about it.

I'll summarize this: Mamdani asked NYers to keep air conditioning at 78 degrees. A wave criticism hit online. A MSNBC broadcast pointed out the US Department of Energy recommends that 78 degree figure. Immediately after, the US Department of Energy deleted 6,000 web pages related to energy saving.

Watching episode of ER from 2001. Dr. Chen & Dr. Carter are trying to diagnose an unconscious preschooler. Carter: “Could be measles.” Chen: “Measles? Have you ever seen measles?” Carter: “No, have you?” Chen: “Of course not, nobody’s seen measles.” So far backwards in such a short time.

If Trump stuck two french fries in his nose and said he's going to tell Westeros to invade Narnia, Fox would devote 10 hours a day to the Narnian threat and the New York Times would run articles headlined "President Considers Expanding Conflict Zone; Critics Raise Questions"

"The president told me he's disappointed Israel can't put Hezbollah away. He went on to say, 'They can't do anything without knocking buildings down' & that he is close to giving it to Syria. He's talking about empowering the Syrian president to actually go into southern Lebanon and fight Hezbollah"
