In our own tests, we added a “bomb blast and crater” to an area of Los Angeles. This is a misinformation time bomb, will 100% be abused www.404media.co/google-earth...

I also wrote up some code to plot the data for each route, using the location data for each stop. Here the area of each circle is proportional to the number of boardings at the stop. I've annotated the busiest sections of each route.
Adelaide Metro has publicly available data on card validations (i.e. passenger numbers), separated by day, route and stop - data.sa.gov.au/data/dataset... Here's the data sorted for the most frequently used routes in the system: docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

As our friends in the northern hemisphere suffer through summer heat, here's a nerdy fun trick from an Australian. Breathe in quickly through your nose. If it feels warm around the base of your nostrils, the air temp is higher than body temp (37C/98F). It's incredibly accurate and unambiguous.
