“Do you think HUMAN CREATIVITY matters? Most people don't spend a lot of time thinking about poetry until their father dies, you go to a funeral, you lose a child, somebody breaks your heart & that's when Art’s not a luxury it's sustenance.” — ETHAN HAWKE

Sony argued that "reasonable consumers" already know they don't really own the digital goods they paid for. The Consumer Rights wiki has now made a list collecting more than 30 examples where Sony told customers they do, in fact, own the digital games they paid for. https://bit.ly/4gNi4Ls

Mayor Mamdani was the only senior elected official who stayed at the 9/11 memorial ceremony at the WTC until the end. It started at 8:40 AM, and concluded close to 12:30 PM. Most of the other current electeds left at various times. Former Mayors Bloomberg & Giuliani stayed.

Mamdani stayed until the end of the memorial ceremony at which point he was seen talking with 9/11 victims' family members. All of the other senior elected officials left the 9/11 Memorial before the reading of the names concluded.

The source tells me that V.P. Vance was the first to leave the VIP area, and other elected officials began "schmoozing." At some point, Mayor Giuliani's people started "bringing people over to talk with him." CORRECTION:I used photos in a previous similar post that were from 2025

I really do think that Democrats would be doing much, much better electorally if the democratic establishment hadn’t spent every single election cycle since Reagan dismissing and outright opposing every issue young people at the time have cared about. This is the main cause of voter apathy IMO.

you can bet your life that if AI started taking power/resources from the elites of the world and distributed it to the less wealthy, AI would be shut down in an instant. never forget who these systems are for.

The leaked U.S. trade demands that caused Canada to halt negotiations: Washington demanded direct veto power over Canadian infrastructure, control of critical minerals, and delayed access to generic medicines.
