Can we get this back up? Recently a story came out verifying that the friends we have appealing for our humanity on Bluesky are real. Saeed in particular has suffered a severe smear campaign on this very site. It's imperative that we show the people who tried to deny his existence that we see him.

Helluva @notusreports.bsky.social scoop showing that Trump has no idea what's in his budget bill. Seems like something that ought to get a lot more attention. Also this: a republican house member actually admits that they are attacking medicaid. Yes, they are. www.notus.org/congress/rec...

But Trump still doesn’t seem to have a firm grasp about what his signature legislative achievement does. According to three sources with direct knowledge of the comments, the president told Republicans at this meeting that there are three things Congress shouldn’t touch if they want to win elections: Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security. “But we’re touching Medicaid in this bill,” one member responded to Trump, according to the three sources.

In the kidnapping video I posted above, the young kid in the blue Walmart vest getting roughed up by ICE, is 20-year-old Adrian Martinez, a US citizen who was taken hostage by ICE for speaking up for his kidnapped coworker.

I still can't get past the idea that people in America are now supposed to accept that this is a valid form of law enforcement and just assume it's fine when random dudes in groups with face-coverings, no ID, no warrant, & no uniform grab people off the street and force them into unmarked vehicles

Not an original point but worth saying again - there is not a single element in this picture that identifies any of these folks as law enforcement agents. No badges, no uniforms, no vests. Out of context it just looks like a bunch of random guys are kidnapping a mayoral candidate.
