Huge story breaking right now in NYC: BK Dems party boss Rodneyse Bichotte-Hermelyn announced that she's subverting the will of Brooklyn's voters (a majority of whom recently voted to change party leadership) by dramatically changing the rules in order to hang onto her position as party boss.

The DNC has about $16M in cash assets and about $19M in debts, including a line of credit on its own headquarters. DSA has a _surplus_ of $12M. Can the DSA just buy out the DNC?

Early voting is complete in New York City! What we know: 735,317 people have voted. That's more than four times the early total in 2021, and it's 67.5% of the early voting total in 2024.

GOP nominee Curtis Sliwa says he opposes City of Yes and ballot props 2-5, which he says will "take away your homes and provide you with lithium ion batteries, which are like mini-Chernobyls" Fact check: False. They won't do that, but they will make your rent more affordable.
