I’ve seen this story precisely once yet it has stuck with me ever since. It’s eight episodes long. there are like four characters in the whole thing, and it is absolutely riveting. Doctor Who should come back as something closer to this.

In an attempt to further investigate why the music heard on the CBC's kinescope of Flight into Danger seems to bear no relation to that documented on the PasBs for the BBC showing (or at least the CD rereleases of such), I have gone back to source and manged to buy copies of two of the cited 78s!

Sure, Jared Leto is a creep with multiple allegations to his name over the course of two decades, but you have to understand that he's also a mediocre actor who's a nightmare to work with and whose movies are critical flops that don't make money.

What a sad day. Raising a glass to that very fine actor Tom Chadbon, who graced every franchise from James Bond to Blake’s 7 to Game of Thrones, and whose brilliant comic turn as Duggan, the out-of-his-depth private detective in the 1979 Doctor Who classic City of Death, is the stuff of TV legend.
