The level of white-hot incandescent rage I now feel whenever anything AI related pops up on my screen (especially at the OS level) is nearly indescribable. I can't recall literally ANY new technology that has been so widely hated and yet so universally thrust upon the public. Can you?

#PortfolioDay - biiig maps edition Despite everything, it's still me, Alessandro, an italian pixel artist who left the Fine Arts and Movie Art Department to go crazy about little squares. I like big top-down maps and limited palettes, but I kind of do a little bit of everything-pixels nowadays!

The northern sky is full of stars and a waning crescent moon In the far north, the lights of a mysterious city bedazzle the valley. Lugia can be seen flying to the West. The city centre is lively and brightly decorated and illuminated by lanterns and strings of lights. A huge torii gate marks the access of the city to the south, while to the west, connecting to Route 38, is a small gatehouse. To the East the Clock Tower stands tall, with bright lights dotting the forest below and leading to Route 42. To the North-west, the iconic Burned Tower is encased in the dark bamboo glade, where many lights and will-o-the-wisps create a circle of warm, eerire light around the three legendary beasts guarding the monument. Zubat, Golbat and Crobat can be seen flying around. To the east, atop the central shrine zen garden backyard, a shiny Ninetales observes silently the city. Trainer Kris is exploring the verdant Bell Path, just beyond the wooden arched bridge. Below the bridge, a river flows into a waterfall, leading to the great pond at the temple's base. Here many poliwags are playing in the water, while Politoed sings on the top of a rock. At the end of Bell Path stands the Bell Tower, with its many stories; the trusted monk still guarding its access. An eerie light envelopes the South-western shrine, located by an old graveyard immersed in wisteria flowers. This also serves as the city gym, where Morty, the gym leader, can be found by the entrance with his ace, Gengar. The Theatre is opened tonight: a bright warmth light welcomes the visitors by the street: a kimono girl dance is to be expected. A brightly illuminated pokemon center can be found just below, with a traditional wooden sign and a huge pokeball on the roof. The pokemon market, to the east of the Theatre, has a counter opened to the street, where the old lady sells medicines and souvenirs.A topdown pixel art remake of Ruin Valley, from Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen. Many ancient structures can be seen emerging from the steep cliffsides and lush tropical vegetation: temples, tall palaces and mysterious pathways and towers. A moltitude of pokemon and trainers can be seen around. To the east, the ocean with tall waves and a jagged coastline. Water and fossil pokemon live there. At the center of the valley, the legendary pokemon trainer Red is entering the Dotted Hole ruins. Along the transept in front of the absis, two enclosed naves host a Pietà statue and a reliquiary. Many huge chandeliers hang above the central nave, and lots of candles are scattered around the cathedral. A few zombies and skeletons are marching towards the entrance, where a group of adventurers is preparing for battle, being surrounded. To the side of the absis altar, downward staircases lead to the crypt. A huge skeletal dragon guards a closed gate. An eerie light permeates the various locales, featuring grates, numerous walls of wax, monumental coffins and pillars. A Lich warlock is channeling dark magic by a sarcophagus. The Tower above houses a giant bell. A faraway city can be seen from the terrace, as a Griffin guards the bell beam. A secret room with four chandeliers features many tombs. There, a lady-like demon with bat wings floats above a marble coffin.A top down pixel art view showing the current progress in creating a seaside town area. To the north-east there are rocky cliffs and a cave that leads up into the promontory. In the southeast, just below the rocks, a sandy beach leading to a bay area. A few npcs are starting to populate the location, exploring the surroundings and having a chat. To the south-west, an open-air train station, with two railway platforms and two modern looking canopys. To the east along the railroad, many light poles can be seen. To the south-east a single house with a green car is located in the middle of a plateau overseeing the Bay area. A few antenna towers can be seen around the place, as well as electric poles dotting the hill area to the south.
