I'm reviewing slides for someone else's talk and the subtitle for one is "The Architecture Worked…Until It Had to Scale" and my brothers and sisters in tech, I'm here to tell you that's the story of every #monitoring and #observability vendor, feature, and/or project ever.

Like we thought we'd get a terminator apocalypse, but instead we get a sort of Internet Kessler Syndrome.

We need to talk about banning meta glasses at conferences. Yes, we usually sign a release with the tickets to allow for conference photographers, but this is clearly not that. If you speak to me with these on at Kubecon, I will simply walk away. Doesn't matter who you are or what the question is.

this is why I really like @ed3d.net's goal of people just "being normal" as a minimum criteria to interact with them, rather than a litmus test about "pro-ai, anti-ai" etc

This was honestly such an interesting season! Really forces you to think about what it takes to actually build a product - not just the technical aspects, but all the things it's easy to miss that go along with it, how you tell the story and solve the real problem for people. Worth it!!
