I read some things, try some things, and when they work I sometimes share some things.

Stop being such wet losers my god. These people need to be punished. In every imaginable way possible. Not punishing them is what got us here. So many fucking scared people afraid to throw a punch, even in self defense! Be more like AES.

one more point: whether Platner-shilling or Ramaswamy ad defending, there's an approach to politics that insists we ignore decency in favor of the barbarous because "practicality" demands it. The next time you see this (you will), ask whether you're seeing commitment to practicality or to barbarism

HEY CIS PEOPLE: here is your reminder that things are Still Not Remotely Okay for trans people in the US, and a fair chunk of this blue wave has come out in favor of that. What we've won is a slim gddamn chance, and we need you to get a crowbar into it and pry it wider.

An important caveat to last night’s win. It’s great that so many pro-trans candidates won. It’s great that so many liberal Dems won, including in red states. But the attack on trans lives continues unabated. If the Dems don’t act to change that, then their principled rhetoric isn’t worth much.

The Genital Inspections For Girls ballot measure in Washington looks like it's going to pass btw

You can literally run a trans woman in a red district in a deep South red state and win 22% more voters than the cis Democrat in the previous election. Every Democrat who has been lying about trans rights being bad electorally needs to be removed from politics forever!

A trans woman just won a Alabama house seat that a right wing news paper described as a "long shot" while repeatedly misgendering her in the article, lmao. The Republican candidate spent the whole campaign attacking her for being trans and lost his very Republican leaning seat, eat fucking shit!

WA’s trans measure is NOT called yet. This is the type of vote that can *absolutely* change vote by vote. Do NOT give up hope yet. And if the bullshit wins? We fight like hell for our trans neighbors. But don’t give up tonight.

Continuing this energy given election results, politicians shouldnt feel pressure to capitulate to silicon valley BS. They dont have to fear missing out on a tech wave of the future because those mfs dont have SHIT left to suggest any of that is happening. They all played their dumbass fascist hands

Without the promise of scifi future tech carrying water for it, capital has nowhere to turn to excuse all its failings. “Its still good!” doesnt work when it cant deliver magitek to end climate change, toil, energy problems and get us to the stars. We are just, here, with the same problems it causes

elon musk spent hundreds of millions of dollars demonizing trans people in texas and democrats flipped the entire fucking state trans rights forever baby

hundreds of millions of dollars on anti-trans advertising being proven totally irrelevant- not positive, not negative, just a proper heat check that normal people simply don't care and it's lighting money on fire to try to politicize my identity- is so, so liberating

Two things I would like to see from this new Congress are: 1) spending bills that increase NIH, NSF, and CDC budgets by 50% over the next two years and 2) inclusion of a stipulation to discontinue multi-year funding policies. Give us two years of that please.

If you hear one Democrat talking about reaching across the aisle to find common ground with Donald Trump you must bully them until no one remembers their own real name.

I’m listening to the narrative developed among the pundits tonight. “Kitchen table issues” “Dems need to stay focused” “Should Democrats pursue accountability?” The word ICE has not been mentioned. Corruption was just mentioned on CNN at nearly 11pm. No one has said war in Iran. Or Epstein.

🎯 Do not let the do nothing popularism Blue Rose types lead us directly into a competitive authoritarianianism that there’s no way back from. Dems have to wield their Article I powers like absolute Avengers: clean house & make major institutional changes as soon and ruthlessly as possible.

It’s incredibly important to recognize that Democrats running up the score so high they exceeded the margins of fuckery is not a sign of democratic health. It is a time-limited reprieve to secure the government before we lose it. This was the failure of the Biden Era that cannot be repeated.
