Not everyone’s doing it. Mike isn’t. I’m not. My writers’ room is not. In fact, I only know of 1 writer who admits to using AI to brainstorm with. Some undoubtedly use it. But clickbait headlines like this create a permission structure for more to do so. You don’t have to and you shouldn’t.

While I don't love Hank Green, I actually think this is a really helpful development. A beloved, articulate, smart guy admitting he's drunk too deep from LLMs and generative AI who discusses the psychological impact AI psychosis has had on him before announcing needing to pause things and get help.

The only taxidermied blue whale in the world, 1865 CE, now housed at the Natural History Museum in Sweden. The public was allowed to enter the whale up until a couple was found having sex inside it. Now the whale’s jaws are opened only for special occasions, such as Swedish election days.
