I'm not sure folks have realized just how crazy the second half of 2026 and 2027 will be for global temperatures – on the back of a record-smashing El Niño event. Here is my latest estimate of where both years will end up compared to global temperatures since 1850.

Dies ist wohl einer der eher kühleren Sommer, die wir noch erleben werden. Jede neue Gasheizung, jeder neue Verbrenner, jede neue fossile Industrieanlage verschlimmert die Situation.

Hitzewellen, die sich aneinanderreihen. Dann heißt es: Ressourcen ja od. nein für Reisen in kühlere Regionen, Klimaanlage, Homeoffice, Garten, Gesundheitsvorsorge allg.

Nahel Belgherze@wxnb.bsky.social · 4mo agoAs the first reanalysis data become available, I think I can say with a fairly high degree of confidence that the March 2026 heatwave will go down as the most anomalously extreme heat event ever observed at any time of year in the southwestern U.S.
The best time to have invested in renewables, walkable cities and transit to avoid the oil crisis shock was twenty years ago. The second best time is today.

Die Epstein-Files belegen: Extreme Vermögenskonzentration schafft unantastbare Parallelgesellschaften, die den Rechtsstaat zersetzen. Eine progressive Vermögenssteuer ist daher nicht nur legitim, sondern die demokratische Notwehr gegen eine zersetzende Parasitokratie.
Cannot reccomend this strongly enough. For me personally so many elements of fascism whenever it emerges in the world seem to have a seed in the fossil fuel economy, the outrageous lies of climate denial. Fighting against fossil fuels = fighting against the tools of fascism.
