A Post-climate-apocalypse ttrpg

"Grimfun" This is a word I want to spread around. Grimfun is what happens when you take that grimdark, "everything is a hopeless grind" aspect of a setting and turn it comedic by making characters who are resilient to it (more on comedy-resilience in a sec)...

Hey there folks! It's been a minute, but Lost in the Glow will be running some sessions at @acen.org this Friday at 3:00 and Saturday at 11:00 and 4:00! Each session will influence the next, shaping the wasteland in response to the player's choice and the dice! It's going to be a blast!

“The brave men and women of ICE and the U.S. Border Patrol are doing their best to carry out these executions in a safe and professional manner,” said Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem

I've never seen a population more united. If people can hold onto that unity, if people can accept that different people will have different ways of confronting fascism, if we can remind NGOs and orgs that they can join but not control the resistance, then, well, people here will write history.

Philadelphia sheriff Rochelle Bilal: “No law enforcement professional wears a mask…No law enforcement professional shoots at a moving vehicle. “What Trump’s private army is doing…is not only against legal law, but moral law.” Vows to arrest agents on site who commit crimes.

A question for all my party people in the ttrpg space: What systems do you know of where travel and traversal are a mechanic? What ones do you think do this well? Normally this is a part of a game gets glossed over as though the conquering heroes are taking the 409 bus to and from a mission

It's been quite a while! Ever since Midwinter 2025, I've been sitting with the game and making the choice to rebuild some systems that I had spent months working on previously. It. Sucked. It's also part of game design! Which I am having to come to terms with as a first time designer.

Hey! If you're going to be at the Midwinter Gaming Convention on Saturday, I'll be running playtests that day with a persistent story between all of the games! Stoked to get to try out all of the new changes since my last convention!

Well, this was unexpected and welcomed! Thanks for the follow! Lost in the Glow is a post-climate-apocalypse ttrpg based around community and base building. We're built on the Forged in the Dark system and our next con is the Midwinter Gaming Convention in Pewaukee Jan 9-12th! #ttrpg #fitd
