I know folks on glp-1s who do not have diabetes and it has also improved their lives and mental health! It makes them feel normal too! Everyone seems to want glp-1s to have some horrendous side effect to punish people for taking them?

We apologize for yesterday’s service problems. Bluesky experienced a DDoS attack—a flood of junk traffic meant to knock servers offline—over a period of 24 hours. We have upgraded our defenses in response, and we continue to monitor the situation. Follow @status.bsky.app for any updates.

hot take but i think a lot of people actually want there to be some kind of horrible health hazard associated with GLP-1 meds because their existence challenges their protestant ethic-esque philosophy of bodies

I think of imsimu as a design ethos more than a genre tag, but the shorthand works the same way. To me, an imsim is a game that's obviously very concerned with simulating interwoven systems against each other whether the player is interacting with them or not. Also: flushable toilets.

Define what an immersive sim is without mentioning — stacking objects — 0451 — any game, genre, studio, or dev

Games that take place in a sandbox like environment in which you have many different systems interacting in order to make the world you're operating in feel real, and that your gameplay decisions can vastly change the way you interface with the game world.

game whose principle objective is making the player feel like the game "is real"; they are There, not Playing It. this is achieved by a 1st-person perspective, replacing gameplay abstractions with diegetic elements, and eliminating scripted elements in favor of a simulated sandbox whenever possible.

I've been working on this for over a year: I'm remaking all of Ocarina of Time's prerenders in 3D, trying to match the N64 style rather than the 3DS one. The provisional name is OoT unJPEG. It will be distributed as both a romhack that runs on real N64 hardware and a mod for Zelda 64 Recompiled.
