It really is amazing that Trump keeps pushing to throw some random guy who didn't seem to commit any crime into prison for a decade and this isn't being treated like a huge scandal.

It's this weird thing where it's all so buffoonish that everyone pretends it's a big joke despite the consequences being very very real.

BREAKING: Trump is trying to fire Lisa Cook again. The Trump administration, rebuffed by the Supreme Court in its first attempt to fire Cook, just sent the Federal Reserve governor a letter saying it was "considering" removing her from the job.

The checkmate appears to be that unless I'm missing something (please tell me), all fed-level enforcement is concentrated in the executive branch. When SCOTUS rules against executive, how can SCOTUS enforce it if executive refuses to abide by the ruling?

This is incredibly disturbing. The number of cases in Mississippi alone of Black people who met their deaths in dubious/highly suspicious ways, only for authorities to shrug it off and do a piss poor job if investigating...there are so many names

A fun fact about me is that I have a degree in telecommunication and will die on the hill that media—all of it—has never recovered from the deregulation and consolidation made possible by the Telecom Act of 1996. Don’t get me started on what it did to minority-owned radio and TV stations.

How is Angie Craig, until recently a supporter of ICE and the Laken Riley Act, ahead of Flanagan in Minnesota, the single state most harmed by ICE abuses? Craig is also a supporter of cryptocurrency and—even now—Netanyahu; how is this not a slam-dunk for Flanagan? (How poor is her campaigning?)
