The term rootless cosmopolitan as a slur for Jews goes back to Stalin. 1967 was a watershed for non-Soviet radical left (e.g. Trotskyites), though.

John Brown would have voted for Kamala Harris with pride, knowing that not only are Black people human but also worthy of holding office. Brown violently hated slavery for how it dehumanized African Americans and often involved them in his plots.

Functionally? Yes. I saw some polling that the non-voters would have gone for Trump, too. But you can't gloat about how you helped defeat Harris and how she deserved to lose and then smol bean your way out.

‘She lost therefore she’s bad’ is how memes work, not election analysis. She lost bc of about a thousand structural reasons including a global rise in social media driven populism and a media that blamed the inflation narrative on democrats rather than on who started it.

Biden directed most of the IRA money to Republican states. Who did they vote for again? Why should the Democrats help the people who would rather die than get help from us?

Reminder that post debate polling showed Trump lost the debate to Harris by the same margin he won the debate against Biden — but no avalanche of stories calling for Trump to step down, in fact media did "stop the presses" coverage of a "stopped at the gate" assassin to drive it from the news
