I really wish we could collectively get over the "Pigs as a euphemism for fascists" thing. Of course I agree with this message, and I feel ACAB to my core, but pigs are gentle, familial, smart, loving creatures who we have enslaved and consider to be "dirty and gross" while we slaughter and eat them

Major companies and industry leaders need to protect developers, partners, and creators. Speak out against harassment campaigns. Ignoring them allows the people who are already safe and untouchable to remain so, while leaving at-risk folks to face hate and harassment head-on and alone.
I *very distinctly* remember anyone who makes any effort to support me in the face of harassment, because so few people do. It is largely dealt with silently and completely alone, with 0 support (and some times actually disdain!) from those who pretend to be champions.
