If openssh which basically the entire internet relies on doesnt warrant mythos access then what does? Whats the criteria? Why isnt that criteria transparent?

Anthropic may not have intended to write an excellent ad for GLM 5.3, but that's what they did. www.anthropic.com/research/glm... Unlike Mythos, I might actually have a chance at using GLM for defensive research. Anthropic didn't reply to any of my requests for Mythos access for use on OpenSSH.

“Language was more of a minefield than the border between Syria and the occupied Golan Heights, and we, children at the time, were expected to hop around them, hoping we don’t accidentally step on an explosive trope that would discredit us.”

Jewish settlers stole my house. It’s not my fault they’re Jewish.

Palestinians are told the words we use dwarf the decades of violence enacted against us by the self-proclaimed Jewish State. A drone is one thing, but a trope—a trope is unacceptable. No more.

This is not the main point, but one of the reasons LLMs are not very good at science is that they take everything at face value. Actual scientists are aware of these issues and take them into account when judging the results of a paper. LLMs lack such discernment

In May it was big news when 100+ suspicious images were found in Thermo Fisher's catalog. Now, that number has expanded dramatically to 18,000+, thanks to some arduous searching by @reeserichardson.bsky.social. My reporting on the massive trove and its implications for antibody reliability:

NEW: DHS' top number-cruncher just left the department -- and blasted the administration's "war on immigrants" on the way out. He's one of the very few DHS officials to step down and speak out publicly against this White House. Me in @wired.com ... www.wired.com/story/dhs-of...

DHS Official Resigns, Citing ‘War on Immigrants’

The outgoing executive director of the Office of Homeland Security Statistics is one of very few federal officials to speak out against the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown.

😳 “Pax Romana. Pax Britannica. Pax Americana. Each marked an era in which a dominant power underwrote order thru control of the systems on which prosperity depended.” This is the context for “Pax Silica,” a new global initiative launched by Trump official Jacob Helberg, a *Palantir* alum. 3/30/26 1/

I ran an absolutely 100% human, zero AI-involvement at any stage passage of my writing through an "AI detector," curious if it could really tell human from AI work, and it said my own writing was "84% AI written" then asked I wanted to pay to have it "humanized." So there's that to keep in mind.

In front of fans and kids taking photos, a Dallas police officer starts shoving staff members of the Egyptian national team here for the World Cup. At one point, he even reaches for his handcuffs. The video is already being shared internationally by news outlets.

When you use the research function in frontier LLM, the models do not have the judgement to discern the wheat from the chaff. A paper that you instantly flag as low quality/suspicious by skimming the figures, will be treated as ground truth by the models.
