Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass es noch absurder geht als der FIFA-Friedenspreis an Kriegstreiber Trump, aber Axel Springer hat es geschafft: Der erklärte Antidemokrat Peter Thiel, der ein unliebsames Medienunternehmen zerstörte, erhält einen Preis für "Meinungsfreiheit".

So Mussolini's Palazzo di Giustizia collapsed in Bolzano today & no one got hurt but fascists' feelings. While Italian fascist architecture is clearly far less ugly than anything the Nazis built, this goes to show that although fascists love to invoke eternity, nothing they erect will last forever.
