AES is going up against a member of Congress who was supported by the entire Democratic establishment and had tens of millions of dollars from AIPAC. Polling has given unrealistic expectations about what success looks like. Any win at all is an incredible victory for the left.

In his 2020 run, Buttigieg stopped releasing the names of his campaign bundlers after scrutiny. They included: -superlobbyist, and now Palantir lobbyist, Steve Elmendorf -billionaire Blackstone exec Hamilton James -"Silicon Valley's favorite fixer" Bradley Tusk -Merck's head of public affairs, etc.

Just so everyone knows, this is a tried-and-true mainstream media tactic. For progressives/leftist candidates, every election is a “crucial test” and any loss would serve as proof to the media that the latest left-side moment is at its end. Any win, though, just means it’s time to find a new test.

It is insane to me that Dems cannot decide on attacking Collins over blank-check funding the trump Gestapo that are murdering ppl on camera monthly and wildly unpopular. But I’m not getting paid big money to make these decision so what do I know. I’m just a voter and person w/ a conscience

Trump 2 has shown that the bulk of federal, state, and local "law enforcement" don't perform any useful functions at all. If they did, it would not be so easy to re-task them to brainless gestapo work like rounding up whole neighborhoods and waiting outside public buildings.

Compare this action to any time the police murder someone and lie about what actually happened and then we all find out the truth and see that not only the murdering officer but multiple other officers lied on the police report, which is illegal, and good look getting a prosecutor to care

whenever someone tells you that it's simply impossible for police to be charged with misconduct or criminal charges, you can tell they're wrong because some cops do get charged regularly — when they are whistleblowers or reformers prosecutors are actually extremely eager to help drum them out!
