Every piece of post-production software is now riddled with tools that are labelled as AI and every editor largely knows it's bullshit. Stabilization, something that used to just be about anaylizing movement and autocompensating for camera shake and existed before AI is now called an AI process.
and the editing is fucking magic. in awe of how often second or less long shots are slightly under or over cranked to fit the precise rhythm of the scene. the work of a true master
there's a long, honorable tradition of thinking christopher nolan movies are mostly bird brained and i won't let the right degrade it by latching onto the odyssey as johnny-hater-come-latelys

Not even on the shortlist for the other three. Two grants did not go through and if the final one does, the money will go to a university I’m no longer at.
TL;DR: Looking for work. Preferably academic, preferably in Norway or remotely/hybrid.

And that is why nobody releases a Norwegian movie in Norway during the summer. Toy Story 5 opened with 27,000 admissions - the 10th biggest opening of the year so far and less than 1/10th of what Super Mario Galaxy opened to in April.
