This was a fun one! Got a bit sentimental towards the end, but ya, I really meant what I said in regards as to why so many of us are still in #VR. We really love the medium and just want to build cool shit. Thanks @ianhamilton.net for having me on!

A really lovely anecdote about @tovanbo.bsky.social from @markschramm.bsky.social in the middle of our discussion as I’m thinking about @devinreimer.bsky.social and Stellar Cafe. You can make a developer’s day by leaving a review expressing how their worked affected you.

I keep thinking about this insane survey question for GDC attendees. Surely this can't represent the vast majority of people who attend? But it feels like it explains a lot of the other context and choices around the show.

A survey from GDC asking to note the reader's company's annual revenue, with $100M being the STARTING point

If music was reviewed like videogames are: "This metal song has too much drums." "I wish this song wasn't metal, I like Rap. It should be Rap." "The song is good but they should hire a new singer" "The thing is they're using Gibson guitars, they need to switch to Fender and it'll sound better"
