Solar panels are going up on schools across the country - including Bristol’s own Avonmouth Primary. This Government is taking practical action to help schools generate their own clean electricity, reduce energy costs and support our transition to net zero.

Facts, Truth, Justice. Three amazing daughters who are, of course, everything to their Dad.

This Government is committed to seeing growth & opportunity in every corner of 🇬🇧 That means backing businesses nationwide to innovate, expand & create jobs. Thank you to the entrepreneurs, investors & lenders that joined me for a great discussion at the British Business Bank in Sheffield today.
It was great to spend time with this brilliant group discussing youth engagement ideas for Kensington & Bayswater. From education and employment, to votes at 16 and democratic engagement, it’s vital we put young people’s voices at the heart of decisions that affect them. Lots more to come.
A greener Stratford and Bow starts from the ground up 🌱 The UP Garden in Forest Gate is bringing people together to grow fresh food, learn new skills and build a stronger community at the same time. It’s projects like this that show the power of local people shaping the places they live!

Some Labour MPs have not been so pragmatic. Fact is the welfare bill must be reduced, very considerably, as does reliance on welfare. Support into work is key. Always has been. Members know this, as do ordinary working people.
Labour is changing the railcard rules so 18-year-olds can get half-price train tickets. With £2 fares and kids going free on buses this summer, we are providing families with the little bit of breathing space needed.
I think such dysfunctionality is very serious. We all pay the price for this...the public and businesses.
Lawrence speaks loads of sense, and is a super and industrious MP.
Young people should not be priced out of education, employment or training, which is why this Labour government is making is transport more affordable for 16 to 18-year-olds.
