Steam just recommended Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library & i almost DEFENESTRATED my goddamn phone
Currently finangling some strong friends to help with the move, have calmly anticipated the consequences of failing to mention the one-tonne antique book press

John MacLeod@mrjohnmacleod.bsky.social · 3mo agoRelating really hard to this. Every time I try to politely summarise it I notice I’ve gone red in the face and the subsequent discussion seems to have become… muted.
I need to find a way to summarise the fact that I will never care about AI slop even if it’s “good” because the core thing I enjoy and the thing that most interests me about any piece of art is that it was made by a human being who put effort and intention into communicating something to me.

At some point the State decided it was going to stop building public housing. Nobody ever put that in a manifesto. The Ministers under whom the policy was implemented explicitly denied it was their policy. But it happened. And it has hobbled our society ever since.

Stumbled into shelves yesterday, IMMEDIATELY lost balance, fell ON the shelves, tried to hold them up WHILE falling ON them by FLAILING ONE LEG OUT, was saved by housemate LAUNCHING himself to GRAB MY ANKLE
