Just back from the Neuroethology Congress in Vancouver (UBC) — what a great week! Presented my poster on courtship vocalizations in naked mole-rats, and so nice reconnecting with colleagues plus meeting new people in the field :) Already looking forward to Taiwan 2028 ✨

In the acoustic session: Ana Amador introduces her research and talks about vocal production in songbirds. Her lab records from motor nuclei of the brain during vocal production in singing canaries.

Andrew Bass talks about his research on acoustic communication in fish.

Very helpful thanks! Currently the Regulations.gov cite lists OMB-2026-0034 as "Closed for Comments" even though the Federal Register lists it as open through July 13
