Every day that we continue allowing ourselves to be restrained by systems that have been completely corrupted and perverted and to look to elections that may or may not happen and may or may not be free or fair, we lose precious time to organize and do what must be done. Stop waiting.

Authoritarians and their benefactors the wealth class use our systems against us. Liberal democracy becomes a weapon, a cudgel, a cage that gets increasingly smaller and smaller and more and more cruel. The social contract is broken. Continuing to cling to it is a surefire route to disaster.

The Supreme Court is illegitimate. Not just because it is stolen, and it is, and not because it is corrupt, and it is, but because it is wrong and it does not represent the interests of the people. We have to get comfortable with unchaining ourselves from tradition, norms, and decorum.

I’ll never get over how, in an era when women’s rights and status are being attacked and eroded in law and culture alike, we were incessantly told that it was boys and men whose suffering we needed to attend to.
