The same old Susan Collins charade. As soon as a controversial nominee or a bill has enough votes to pass, she announces she will vote no when it doesn’t matter. She never casts a deciding vote against Trump. Now she will claim this shows how she is so “independent.”

Yes, treating cancer costs a fortune... but fifty years ago, a lot of the time, the treatment plan was "wait for death"
I actually think the lack of republicans on this site has directly led to the lefties here being as shitty as they are. They don’t have actual right wingers around to yell at, and they want to yell at someone. So they yell at people who in the real world they mostly agree with.

In the mid-20th century, auto and oil interests bought up electric streetcar systems across the US and systematically replaced them with bus routes and paved roads, funneling commuters toward private cars.

So many sneering elitist journalists with snarky posts over the past months that the Reflecting Pool story was trivial. It was so trivial that the DC US Attny presented false evidence to a grand jury to indict an innocent man to please the President while they both lied about it.
