I am glad that the Minnesota Senate primary has avoided becoming nationalized. The ads themselves are mean, but as far as I can tell the attitude of 99.73 percent of DFLers is "I prefer Flanagan/Craig, but if Craig/Flanagan gets the nomination that's fine, they're good, I just want to beat Tafoya."

This site can be exhausting at times but I do appreciate that we all came together to make it clear that this guy is a dipshit and that the Israeli EDM article was insane. It’s nice to feel united!

The thing is, if you think life was better forty years ago you're either a reactionary or a kid. I can forgive the kids, they don't know, but 40 years ago was 1986, the internet didn't exist, the AIDS crisis was in full swing, and the ozone hole was growing. Almost everything is better now.
