Senior Eng @ Large Corp Chaos Agent Passionate about Programming i dont want to hear about your agentic setup, dont waste my tim,e

Constantly surprised at how well Go does things, from local package management to tool installing, im very impressed and sort of sad that my next job won't provide any space to use it

I am realizing that I was able to find new employment in this shitty economy in 22 days from the moment I knew I'd be let go till the job offer - kinda impressive - 200 applications in about 14 days, half being a direct DM to a linkedin person - 1 GIGA SPREADSHEET - ~60 interviews truly rancid

also, the worst job market to look for a role - so many opportunities missed me because I am not completely AI pilled and I won't bend my fucking knee and pretend like this shit is better than your average run-of-the-mill programmer. Thankfully I found something that is safeish :)

E.g. the text terminal is just an enclave that's not interesting for the "sell more shit to users" people. That's the main reason why it hasn't turned to shit like UI apps yet IMHO. Basically, the terminal was never important enough to sacrifice it on the altar of commerce ;)
