Yelled so loud I woke the cat. I'm so excited. One of my most favorite things to do as a game designer/publisher is hire people to make art for my games. Even better is giving them more money in appreciation of that art.

Time for a new pinned post! Hi There! I'm Meghan! I'm a queer, New England based, Red Bull dependent, #TTRPG designer. When I'm not working on TTRPGs, you can most likely find me doing crossword puzzles, watching Taskmaster or the PWHL, and making up songs about my dogs.

The PTI is how I got my start exhibiting at conventions. The work Cassie does with the PTI is so important. Please share and listen to everything Cassie has to say here.

With the nightmares for QTBIPOC in the United States right now, it is so so telling that @officialpax.bsky.social has decided that 2026 is the year to cut support and funding for The PAX Intersection & its PTI programs that made a PAX safer & life changing event for devs & attendees of color alike.

Please read this thread. This program really is important to ensure QTBIPOC folks are safe and have a space to play at PAX events. Read, it, share it, and email PAX with your support. Direct action is needed.

I sent this email, but I am also posting this as an open letter to @officialpax.bsky.social . #savetheintersection

email:
I have attended both the PAX East and PAX Unplugged events for years now. I was at the first PAX East. I was at the first PAX Unplugged. I have rarely missed any since then. They are the vacations I look forward to every year, and it is now a cherished tradition I share with my kids. Not to mention spending a not inconsiderable amount of money at these events.

One of the constants at the shows that I have always appreciated are the PAX Together Intersectionality room and associated programs. It's always been important to me that EVERYONE feels welcome at PAX. And the sad truth of the matter is some people need more assurances than being let in the front door. The LGBT and BIPOC communities need spaces like this more than ever. I have heard that the PTI program is no longer being supported by PAX, and I simply disagree with this on so many levels. As a parent of two queer children, I don't want them to feel like they've had the rug pulled out from under them if I bring them to a formerly welcoming convention only to see it forgetting about them. So I'm putting on my dad voice now, I'm mad AND disappointed.

It is also pretty hard to see this as anything other than kowtowing to the rise a fascist hate that places like PAX are supposed to be a shelter from. What's next? Are we getting people checking genders at the restroom doors? A booth for the Proud Boys? PAX started as a reaction to E3 keeping people out. It was a convention where everyone was supposed to be welcomed over their love of gaming. Everyone. If that is no longer the case, then PAX is no longer a place for me (or my money).

Sincerely,
Matthew Nevers

The PTI is genuinely one of the best parts of PAX. It's part of why I go every single year. This year was the first year I didn't visit and my experience was lesser because of it. The PTI deserves to be there and I encourage you all to reach out to PAX/Reedpop asap.

Hey folks. So the storms this month were more damaging than originally thought, but not enough for my insurance to kick in. I have really been going through it so I don't have the funds to stop the leak. If you have some spare coins, it would be really helpful. gofund.me/a8b19e8f7

To kick off the month: I'm Bi/Demi. Trans rights are human rights. There is no LGB without the T. Pride was a fucking riot. Corporations aren't your friend. The spectrum has always existed. No cops at the parade. Our stories will outlive any hate. 🏳️‍🌈
