Drowning is a leading cause of death for U.S. kids under 5. It can happen silently and in seconds. Assign a water watcher to keep eyes on kids in/near water at all times. Don't assume other adults or even lifeguards have eyes on your kid especially in crowded areas.

Graphic stating 'Assign a water watcher—an adult who will pay constant attention to children in the water.' Below, a list titled 'If you are the water watcher, be sure to:' includes putting down your cell phone, avoiding other activities, supervising even if there are lifeguards, and switching off with another adult for breaks. An illustration of an eye appears on the right. Footer shows logos for HealthyChildren.org and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Russia killed Oleksii Yukov, the head of the Platsdarm body recovery group. Oleksii repatriated over 10,000 bodies in more than 25 years of his work. Born and raised in Sloviansk, Donetsk region, Oleksii was initially recovering the remains of soldiers from World War II.

They should have this sorted by now. Which means there are serious stresses and shortages in sustainment capacity, likely owing to the unprogrammed nature of this campaign, as well as the increased op-tempo on this side of the Atlantic.
