"It's given a lot of people permission to be themselves, to not dream it, be it, which is the motto of the movie, really. I would like to be remembered for that." Farewell to Tim Curry (1946-2026) #RIP

The thing about trying write/draw anything without much life experience is it literally takes time, years of real living and lots of emotional processing before you're even remotely in the headspace to express complex feelings for stuff you yourself didn't go through. Emotional truth is hard.

Hello everyone! Many of you likely saw this image recently with the Apple TV+ 'Neuromancer' promotion. Some know, others don't, but this artwork is mine, created alongside actor & post-production artist Milton Menezes, as a personal project and a homage to the original Neuromancer romance

It’s always a treat and good sign for a piece of art when people are still having passionate (and healthy) discussions about it long after its release. Ironically for its timelessness, time really is the ultimate factor when it comes to that criteria.

it is actually possible to draw something and go "well. I'm pretty displeased with how that turned out." and not have that collapse your entire sense of self worth. it's possible to go "oh well haha" and then enjoy the rest of your day. and, get this: you can still make good art that way

No other word has done more damage to the craft of writing in recent years than “content”. Even if you’re using the word “content” ironically, or as a cute little joke, don’t. When someone calls writing “content” they’re pissing on someone’s hard work & passion. “Content” is Technosatan’s henchword.

free father's day hugs for pride 🫂🏳️‍🌈 for many LGBTQIA+ people, a day like today is one that is not celebrated. in a world constantly wanting to dehumanize queer people, I just want to say that you are loved, supported, and accepted here. 🩷

sometimes, all you need is a great big hug from a great big dad to help the pain of rejection heal, even just for a little bit. <3

Singaporean artist Leia Ham reimagined LotR as Tale of the Middle Kingdom, since Chinese name for China (Zhōngguó) means "The Middle Kingdom." Her concept art includes the Fellowship, armors, buildings like Bag End, props like Aragorn's banner and Fellowship brooches, and more. #TolkienTrewsday

There's sentiment that "education is too expensive & not worth it anymore" this is a lie, education is worth it, sciences and arts are a common societal good, not a scarce luxury for the privileged few. Education has been privatised & commodified, turned to product rather than a societal necessity.

1/3 of the game industry has lost their job in the last two years. Ubisoft closed two more studios today. Everyone is out of work. To that end I'm starting a new bundle to benefit a layoffs hardship fund. Game devs: please consider submitting your PAID games to the bundle, which will launch in July.
