Make sense together: whiteboards, diagrams, design and ideation in a single, online visual collaboration app. Your favorite design tool’s favorite design tool since 2012. https://moqups.com

💡 Pro tip: Option-clicking the Toggle Resize Constraints button will enable/disable constraints on all the nested groups in the selection. A quick way to make a complex element become constraints-aware, and in most cases Auto constraints already do the heavy lifting without further customization.

Holding down the Option key while hovering the Toggle Resize Constraints button in the selection toolbar shows the tooltip: Enable resize constraints for nested groups.

Hot on the heels of our Resize Constraints release, we’ve redone some of our most popular element libraries as flexible UI components that resize the way you expect them to. Now available in the Stencils tab: elements for your next iOS 26 / Material Design 3 idea, in light and dark modes.

AI hype needs the cult of "fast" to work. "We don’t want fast because fast is actually better or cheaper. We want fast because someone convinced us that fast feels more secure... feels stronger; feels productive. Fast makes the line go up and lines going up is a good thing." -- @frank.computer

On genAI: Was prototyping really a bottleneck?

I keep hearing folks claim that the fact we can ‘prototype’ so quickly now is a good thing (thanks to modern genAI). But what if the slow parts about prototyping are actually what makes it worth doing...

This goes waaay back to the first Moqups version in 2012: with more than one object selected, the inputs in the Dimensions panel (X/Y/width/height) referred to the selection as a whole, which made it easy to move and resize everything to precise values, all at once. The alternative approach…

We’ve been experimenting with importing Figma designs into Moqups with our dedicated plugin. Copy objects, paste them into Moqups, and you’re done!

A Figma project shows a log in screen design. Next to it, the Figma to Moqups plugin shows the JSON code for the selected objects which, when copied and pasted into Moqups, closely reproduces the design.

Vibe coding broke people's brains because they had a bad understanding of the software design process. The pop culture model goes something like this: start out with a sketch and then render that same idea in progressively finer detail. So when tools could "skip" to high detail, people went WOW.

Comments just got better! 💬 Now, you can expand a thread to half-screen. Great for detailed discussions, decisions, requirements, and sign-off!
