Just a reminder that the correct frame for thinking about unrestricted GPT-6 class models is "powerful cyberweapons", and that the open weight letter people are demanding this capability be made available unregulated and untraceably to everyone on Earth.

Happened to me! Also the setting for this is under "chat" -> "chat settings", which is entirely separate from the main settings menu, so don't get confused.
Grace@gracekind.net · 2w agoPSA there was a Bluesky bug recently that reset DM settings for some users (to disallow incoming DMs). You should re-check your settings if you want to make sure you can be messaged!
Is "translate this large codebase from one programming language to another" the first task that LLMs are good at but human specialists just can't do at all? I guess it makes sense given that translation and coding were already two separate specialties of theirs.
