I am DELIGHTED to share a sneak peek from my story, The Fall Will Kill You, part of the upcoming anthology, Critical Role: The Mighty Nein—Stories Untold, coming to a friendly local bookstore near you on August 11th!

A blue and green flyer promoting an upcoming anthology. “ESSEK GRAPPLES WITH HIS PAST AND HIS FONDNESS FOR THE MIGHTY NEIN IN THE FALL WILL KILL YOUAS TOLD BY DANI CARR If anyone cared, it would be the Nein. They cared about so many things, from what he'd seen. They championed cause after cause. It must be exhausting, but at least there were seven of them to share the load. Nine if he counted the weasel and the fey feline. And left himself out of their number, of course. THE MIGHTY NEIN | STORIES UNTOLD FOREWORD BY TALIESIN JAFFE

Just a reminder to all book and publishing friends: if you’re not actively speaking out about the genocide in Palestine, you ARE taking a side. Silence is complicity. Seeing ‘both sides’ when one side has murdered over 61,000 people since 2023, is complicity. Hope that helps clear it up. 🇵🇸
